Melisandre of Asshai

A piece I did for the AGoT trading card game a few months ago. Some years ago I had done a Melisandre image for work, but it was before I had read the series. Looking back on it I felt that the character was poorly portrayed, but I didn't have too much knowledge to go on at the time. Whenever I was given the assignment to paint her again I wanted to try and make up for it. I'm pretty happy with it this time, in terms of character representation. Much more so than the old one anyway! Some of the lighting and anatomy is effed up though, haha. Oh well.
