i felt like doing another speedpaint and in the middle of working on it i suddenly realized i felt like making it into a gaara portrait. i don't really like how this way turning out so i just stopped working on it. several areas are unrefined as a result. i think maybe later i will want to repaint him again - it is difficult to translate the likeness of the character from an anime style to a more realistic one though. well, anyway - about 45 minutes or so in PS. enjoy :D

nope, no character reference - i've seen the show enough that i know fairly well what he looks like now, haha. i needed to look up the 'love' symbol on his forehead though... no way i could remember that one ;)

ahh well, it's bigger than this. i sized it down a bit because it wasn't finished and i didn't feel like the larger size was worth showing, hehe. probably 2-3 times this size. and thanks :)
