Warcraft fan art. A portrait of the Banshee Queen Sylvanas. For those that don't know the story, she used to be a high elf general and was killed, made into a mindless banshee slave, and eventually rewarded her corpse to reinhabit. She started to develop an awareness. kicked some ass, and started ruling the Undercity. That's it in a super nutshell - roughly. :D So this is her being haunted by images of her past that she can't quite reach. I also submitted this piece to the Blizzard art contest.

I think you pulled off an interesting narrative. I am certain you will get some respeck in the contest!
I was considering entering, but I don't know much about the worlds in any of their games. *hangs head in shame*

Oh wow... I totally hope you win the contest. :D Love the Sylvanas story, it's very cool. I plan on doing some WoW fan art eventually too, but I'm not sure how I'm going to do the eyebrows. I have an idea or two, but I haven't decided entirely yet. This is spectacular. Best of luck!
